Legends Of Ellaria review
Hey guys, welcome to my review of Legends of Ellaria. I finally got to play this game after keeping up with it for a while. It's completely new, you can tell it needs some major polish, but I have amazingly high hopes for this game. It's trying to do what really needs to be done, give every type of gamer something to do in one game.
You can clearly tell the game isn't ready yet, but that is part of Early Access gaming and is a major part of what I love. I love watching a game being built, playing it one day only to find out things have changed drastically on the next update. As of right now, this game doesn't have an RPG Leveling System, it says that is coming soon on the loading page, which is one of the things I was talking about, Been playing it for a couple days, when the RPG Leveling System is introduced, it'll be a totally new game. Reinvigorate the game, new video to produce, and new content for fans.
There are several animations that could be updated, such as Jumping which seems to look weird, especially if you are running. The Magic Shield animation isn't amazing, and unless I'm messing up it only works against Magic like a fireball(no complaints there). Clipping isn't the greatest either, but we shouldn't expect trivial things such as your cloak going through your body or your face going through a wooden door when standing to close at this point in a game, that comes much later.
The greatest example I've found of graphics is the fireball, I absolutely love the way it looks when it explodes and I can't wait to see the rest of the spells are amazing too. I'm hoping the Ice spell won't be lame or bland like most games. I'd love to see it having an awesome effect, like being able to see the air around you or the enemy freezing instead of a blue/white fireball. Maybe if as it went towards the enemy you could literally see everything in a certain radius freeze, even the ground...see shards of ice fall to the ground as the moisture in the air freezes, something like that :D! Frost/Water is my favorite spell trees and I'd love to see them maximized!
Right now we seem to have keybinding issues, which you can see in my upcoming vids. Doesn't seem to be tied to which slot you put it in. For example, the Fireball can't be hotkeyed. No matter which slot you put it in, he will not equip the fireball and that hurts in the middle of combat. I've come across two or three things that can't be equipped in this fashion...but so far everything seems to be working out good...like the fights, hope they get more fluid!
Right now your followers don't come into the caves with you, as you travel alone when you load into them, and they don't seem to teleport with you when you use the portal. I do however love how you can walk around with your militia and watch your town grow as you are able to see workers building up your town to your every desire.
This review may sound like I'm pointing out flaws, but it's the exact opposite. This game isn't to the point of having flaws yet. It is still very early, and so many things are great about it, just the idea and art/graphics of the game make you feel like walking around for hours in the world. The grass and flowers are enthralling. I can't wait to see a world map, as I'd like to be able to see what they have in store for the rest of the world, and seeing as they are able to go to different universes using the Rift, it'd be nice to be able to explore that too...or use that as a way of integrating online kingdoms.
Thanks for taking the time to read, hope you guys enjoyed this. I'll update it as necessary as I play and the game gets updated! Come back for more updates/vids and check out my Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrfLoXr5qDtgug7R_v2l-EA

Toxikk Fps Quick Action Great Arena Shooter!
Just started playing this new Arena shooter called Toxikk, and I agree with it's Slogan...It does feel like 1999 and the good arena times are back! I have trouble getting into the new Quake/UT games these days...I'd rather play the original Unreal Tournament than the new one, just feels more original and unique. This game does a great job bringing it back...they even left out the Flak Cannon...there is now a Bullshot but it is no Flak Cannon. My two favorite weapons are probably Dragoneer(Flame Thrower with insane hard to hit Fireball Alt attack) and the Violator(Assault rifle with Grenade Launcher). All in all...great game. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
